Hi, my name is Darcy and this is my online journal. This is where I’ll talk about my life, my plans, my ideas - everything to do with me. To use the latest buzzword, its my blog. Blaaargghhh.
Whilst I’m not going to school and working my part time job and doing other menial things common to the lives of many other sixteen-year-olds, I like to plan my travels. As soon as I escape the boundaries of the Australian education system, I’ll be packing my bag with the bare necessities, and hopping on over to Indonesia to begin my long-awaited adventure.
That means that some time in the later half of 2009, I’ll be leaving Australia behind (for now) and setting off to see the world. Until I actually set off on this adventure, you can take a look at my notebook or my journal, to check out my collection of information and ideas about my journey.
Everything I do in normal life, I somehow relate to traveling. Whenever I see or hear or read about something that looks interesting, fun or exciting - something that I would like to do, see, feel, taste, smell or experience - I put it into my list of ten thousand things. This list isn’t limited to 10,000, nor has it got to be at least 10,000. It is simply a list of things I want to do before I die, and I thought the name sounded cool =)
