Wow! That really was awesome, thanks for sharing.
It would be so phenomenaly cool to do something like that, I can't wait to get out of highschool...
+ cool blog, I like the idea of a "ten thousand things list", can't wait to make one of my own!
I'd love to talk to you about travel stuff if you'd like, you can e-mail me :)

oooohhhh....I'm salivating over this. Nice. And to think I bought my SONY D707 5-Megapixels for $1000 eight years ago (and my camera is not even optimized for video such as this).

The only thing stopping me to buy this is the fact that I want to upgrade my camera for a Canon 40D. I can imagine myself with a fanny pack or backpack, carrying both of these. Or I could just surrender for both photo and video with the Sony HDRSR12.

Keep us posted if you ever buy this; would like to see a gallery sample.

Maybe this includes any search containing the word google. google mail, google ads, google earth, google maps, google stock quote, google tips, etc. you get the idea. People looking for porn probably don't always use the word porn in their query.

LCC is cool - and has a very good reputation.

Just be aware that London is the most expensive city to live in in Europe, and lots of people find it a bit overwhelming.

I'm not trying to put you off - I always wanted to go to uni in London, and did, and had an absolutely incredible time, and have lived here ever since. But it's also worth knowing that other big cities like Leeds & Manchester are also great places to study without being anywhere near as expensive.

I'm exactly the same - still a year to go and most of my time is taken up surfing travel sites while at work and reading travel guides when I'm at home. Which mostly serves to confuse me even more about where to go!

I think thats an overestimate. I did 18 months around the world and I spent that and that was with some serious loses at a casino lol. There are many cheap ways to travel and homestays and cooking keep your costs down. I think you could do 1 year on 20,000 even with western countries. In asia? South America? 20,000 would last 2 years..

Well, personally, on average i spend around 800euro a month when backpacking. Sticking to hostels, and supermarkets for food... including traport, mostly trains.

It totally depends on where you travel. In the third world you could do that easy.

Europe/Australia/North America? Probably not. You could, but it would be difficult.
