Yet another video by one of my favorite youtuber’s; michael. This one is a slideshow of his backpacking (and climbing) adventure in Ladakh, India. India (as well as china, japan and the middle east) are major attractions for me on my up-and-coming RTW trip, so this video was very inspiring! Enjoy!

This guy is one of the first RTW bloggers i read. I don’t think it was really a blog - I think he typed up his journal when he got home and put it on the web. Anyway, he traveled around the world, starting in Japan (leaving from England) in 2004, i think, and this is his first video; of his Asian journey. I won’t spoil the story for those who want to read it, so here’s the link;

AirAsiaX Plans to set up shop in Victoria, Australia

AirAsiaX chief executive Asran Osman-Rani was in Australia over the long weekend for talks with Victorian airport officials and to check out Newcastle airport in New South Wales.The long-haul offshoot of successful low-cost carrier AirAsia plans to start flying to Victoria about October after the first of up to 25 new Airbus A330-300 aircraft is delivered.

The airline is currently flying to the Gold Coast using a leased aircraft and offers fares to Kuala Lumpur as low as $199 one-way.

Australia - Kuala Lumpur for $200 sounds mighty good to me. Hopefully with the increase of low-cost airlines, especially here in Australia, it will help get more people out of the house, off the beaten track, and onto an Adventure!
