When I’m bored…
And here’s what I did today…

So it’s now Wednesday night. My iPhone has yet to arrive, even though it came out last Friday, and I ordered straight away. It’s understandable that they didn’t have any in on the first day - after all, I live in regional Australia and there isn’t a huge demand for it around here (although aparently there’s been quite a few people order one) and so I can forgive them for that. But it’s now been nearly a week and my phone is yet to arrive. What’s up with that?

So, Mr. iPhone 3G, Where Art Thou?
Okay, so this might be old news to everyone, but Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is out. It came out late October ‘07 and up until today i was too lazy to install it. I got my MacBook Pro 15″ just a few months ago, and it shipped with Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) but now I’ve finally bitten the bullet and taken the step from 10.4 to 10.5.
I’m not sure exactly what everyone else thought when they installed leopard. I’m sure lots of apple die-hards would have nearly creamed themselves when they popped the DVD in. I, on the other hand, was a little under-whelmed.
I mean, it’s a worthy upgrade, sure. But. It’s not amazing.
It’s not mind blowing, and it doesn’t give any huge advantage as far as productivity or enjoyment goes. I must say “Spaces” is an excellent feature which I’ve already used a lot in the bit-over-24-hours I’ve had leopard.
